OUR TEAM

The Persepolis advantage comes from its local, on the ground team, that takes a hands-on approach to asset and property management. The Persepolis team is made up of a group of senior professionals with deep expertize in Spanish real estate, financial structuring, sub-market dynamics, and all facets of the real estate cycle. Our team has access to local financing opportunities and a pipeline of undervalued, transformable, urban properties, sourced through a vast local network of brokers and advisors.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Coming from the United States, Mitra came to Spain in 2014 to start Persepolis Investments. Mitra has 15+ years of experience in investments and real estate. Coming from a Wall Street background, she has worked as a Portfolio Manager in hedge funds such as Laurion Capital and Autonomy Capital. She has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Management from Stanford University.

Mitra Ghamsari

Projects & Technical Director

Antonio has a 30+ years of experience as a technical architect, leading more than 100 transformation projects across Spain. He has experience in the private sector, as well as in the public sector, in regional administration positions, serving as a lead in urban planning development processes. His technical knowledge and vast expertize in change of use, urban planning regulation, and technical analysis have been key to our successful transformation projects.

Antonio Salamanca

Chief Corporate Officer

Pablo brings over a decade of diverse investment banking experience across the U.S. and Europe. Before joining Persepolis, he was a Consumer & Retail banker at Santander CIB in New York and previously served as a Quantitative Portfolio Manager at Santander in Madrid.

He is a Certified FRM with a Master’s in Financial Risk Management and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Pablo Martín

Analyst

Economist with experience in risk analysis and recent experience in the real estate sector. Professional with a solid background in economics and financial management, with over 6 years of experience in companies credit risk analysis in Colombia. Recently, has made the leap to the real state sector in Spain to broaden her analytical and strategic vision in this new field.

Tatiana Suárez

Analyst

Emily graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, with International Mention, from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE, and a Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from North Carolina State University. She has 2+ years experience in the real estate sector.

Emily Haddock

Projects & Technical Director

Civil Engineer, graduated from “Universidad Católica Andrés Bello” (UCAB). He has Managed projects for large office buildings and distribution centers in Venezuela, he has 7 years of experience in the luxury residential sector in Madrid, carrying out the project management of multiple high-profile projects in the city

Francisco Luis Hernández

Office Manager

Norma is a versatile professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Gabriel René Moreno University in Bolivia. After studying hospitality and tourism management in Spain, she served as general manager of Flamenco Tablao Cardamomo for ten years. Currently, she is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at our company, where she is recognized for her essential support to the team and her adaptability.

Norma Tsutsumi

Junior Analyst

Carmen graduated in Business Administration and Business Analytics at Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE. She has experience in the corporate finance sector and has recently entered the real estate sector.

Carmen Gómez

Finance Manager

Joan brings experience in financial management and strategic analysis. Previously, he was Head of Finance at Tropicfeel, where he led accounting, fiscal, and reporting processes, and managed relationships with financial entities. He holds a degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University, with additional studies at the Universiteit van Amsterdam; he is currently enrolled in the CFA program, having passed Level 1.

Joan Iglesias

After studying the first two years of her degree abroad, she is currently in Madrid, completing her final year of International Business and Management at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, ICADE. Recently, she has moved into the real estate sector after exploring other business areas.
 

Blanca Pemán

Shiraz is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Hospitality and Real Estate at ESCP Business School in Madrid. Shiraz has experience in the Parisian real estate market and is now looking to gain expertise in Spain’s real estate sector

Shiraz Haghdoust

Advisor

Marcelo has 20+ years of experience in Wall Street, leading Emerging Markets teams in Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank, and Morgan Stanley. He is a CFA Charterholder, and an expert in Emerging Markets, Structured Credit, Middle Market Lending, Private Equity, Distress Debt, Derivatives, and Fixed Income Trading. He is the strategic lead on Persepolis hospitality, special situations and distress investments. He has a degree in Economics from the University of San Andrés in Argentina.

Gonzalo is an Architect and holds a Bachelor’s Degreee in Fine Arts from UEM. He is a founding partner of the GOAN studio, based in Marbella with an international reach. His work has been published in specialized magazines, and his projects have received awards in important international competitions. Notable achievements include the first Solvia Prize for Innovation in Housing, the first Europan13 Prize for the city of Ingolstadt in Germany, and the Special Prize for Young Architectural Work in Málaga.

Gonzalo Gutiérrez

Patrick began his career as an electrician, advancing to become a contractor and entrepreneur. He founded a law firm specializing in commercial real estate and is licensed as an attorney in Massachusetts and a Solicitor in the UK. Patrick holds a Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology. An inspiring leader, he balances his career with fatherhood and enjoys boating, shooting, spearfishing, and golf. He recently represented Bermuda in the Island Games.
